Mr. Ochs worked as an engineering technician and computer programmer in the research and development lab at Textron’s Aerospace Development Center in Detroit for eight years.  There he helped develop and test components for military aircraft turbine engines, and for the Cruise missile. After moving to Virginia in 1987, he worked as a computer consultant developing software on several projects including computerized election machinery, civil aviation databases, aircraft “black boxes,” and coal mine “ghost busting.” Most recently, he was the IT Manager for Great Eastern Resort Corp., the parent corporation for Massanutten Ski Resort, for 14 years. He enjoys hiking, golf and tennis.
